Present: Bodie, Proulx, Thell, Peterson. Absent: Brenner.

A representative from Trussbilt, LLC made a tour and provided information on holding cells and products that may be used in the justice center project.

Bodie by Thell all yes, to approve the agenda as amended.

Thell by Peterson all yes, to approve the minutes of the regular meeting of November 9, 2021.

Bodie by Thell all yes, to accept the 2022 Children’s Mental Health Grant of $ 17,501 from the Minnesota Department of Human Services.

Thell by Peterson all yes, to accept an additional amended federal COVID-19 grant of $ 264,638 from the Community Health Board.

Thell by Bodie all yes, with the exception of Brenner, who was absent, to enact a lease for additional parking spaces by and between County Carlton and the economic opportunity agency Arrowhead.

Peterson by Bodie all yes, to accept the recommendation of the Airport Commission to increase the hangar rental rate by 4%.

Peterson by Thell all yes, with the exception of Brenner, who was absent, to approve the assignment of the necessary work to the Cloquet Carlton County Airport for the classification of the COQ runway safety zone for runway 18 / 36 to KGM Contractors.

Bodie by Peterson all yes, with the exception of Brenner, who was absent, to assign SAP project 009-603-038 to Ulland Brothers, Inc. subject to the approval of the Town of Cloquet.

Thell by Bodie all yes, except Brenner, who was absent, to reward the project

SAP 009-603-040 at Ulland Brothers, Inc.

Bodie by Peterson all yes, to authorize the county council chairman to sign the revised letter to Mn / DOT regarding the reconstruction of the intersection TH 210 and SCF 61.

Bodie by Thell all yes, to organize a closed session at the end of the regular meeting to discuss collective bargaining.

Proulx by Bodie to fill a 1.0 FTE Community and Collaborative Support Specialist position in the Community and Family Services Department. This motion failed, with Commissioners Bodie and Proulx voting in favor, and Commissioners Peterson and Thell voting no.

Bodie presented information on the Arrowhead Counties Association’s 2022 legislative priorities.

Bodie by Thell all yes, for Land Commissioner, Peterson and Bodie to write a letter to MN DNR supporting efforts to reduce and control chronic wasting disease.

Bodie by Thell all yes, to close the regular meeting to discuss union negotiations.

Bodie by Thell all yes, to close in camera and come back to the adjourned meeting.

Bodie by Thell all yes, that this meeting be adjourned.
