Bangalore: Infosys BPM, the business process management arm of Infosys Ltd, plans to hire 400 skilled customer service workers in Costa Rica. The new employees will join the existing workforce of 300 employees in the region.
This announcement is part of Infosys BPM’s strategy to enhance its international customer portfolio and overall growth. This is in line with its expansion plans in Costa Rica and its focus on improving the communities in which the company operates.
In line with Infosys’ global mission to develop a skilled workforce through continuous learning and development, Infosys BPM said it will provide essential training and growth opportunities to new hires to help them succeed in their respective roles. “It will also contribute to the long-term digital aspirations of the Costa Rican government and its citizens,” Infosys BPM said.
Currently, Infosys BPM in Costa Rica employs people in a diverse portfolio of services, including sales and fulfillment, procurement and procurement, customer services, legal process management, outsourcing of human resources and robotic process automation (RPA). The 400 new employees will be hired at multiple job levels and will be spread across these service lines, with an emphasis on customer service.
The company will collaborate with CINDE, the Costa Rican Investment Promotion Agency, a private, apolitical, non-profit organization, to leverage its business ecosystem in the region and recruit top talent for new roles.
