By Rick Archer (Nov 23, 2021, 4:47 p.m. EST) – The Manhattan district attorney told a New York bankruptcy judge on Tuesday that New York real estate attorney Mitchell Kossoff, who is the subject of a investigation into customer abuse of funds, will go Dec. 3, before pleading guilty in state court to unspecified charges.
In a letter to U.S. bankruptcy judge David Jones, Manhattan office DA Cyrus Vance Jr. said that Kossoff – who faces allegations he has embezzled millions of client funds and whose company is in bankruptcy since April – reached agreement to surrender and plan a guilty plea in state court.
